About Us

Damon grew up in the Houston / Galveston area before moving to Austin in 1986 to attend college.   After attending Southwest Texas State University and The University Of Texas he bought out the owner of a two year old sign company called Signs In A Flash.     Signs In A Flash needed a fresh start so Damon changed the name to Signs Express and eventually moved the company to its present location in Southwest Austin.     Damon really enjoys the sign industry and looks forward to making your sign buying experience the best it can possibly be.  In his spare time some of his favorite things to do is to spend time with family and friends,  travel, mountain bike, camp, and fish.

Born and raised in Corpus Christi Texas in 1983, I enjoyed growing up in a coastal town!  If I wasn’t at the beach, I was on a set of roller blades playing roller hockey. Once I hit high school, Ice hockey came to town and wow, was I the happiest kid in South Texas!  But right along side my passion for extreme sports, was my passion for art and graphic design.  Designing digital graphics since 9th grade in high school has given me an edge in the graphics world as well as over 16 years experience. Shortly after graduating form the Art Institute of Houston, I made my way over to the hill country. The awesome nature in Austin Texas was a much needed change from the concrete jungle that is Houston.  It wasn’t long until I found Signs Express!  I worked as a graphic designer here for 3 years before becoming co owner in 2008.  From banners, to full wrapped vehicles, It is a really nice feeling to see all of my work displayed around town.  Give me the chance to help you with your next sign need and I will provide you with the best possible customer service that I can.
